I swear, this block...is killing me.

I've been trying to do this piece for three weeks constantly stopping, my muse MIA, after ten minutes of work.

I'm not terribly proud of it but I do like the concept. My muse, I suppose, is trapped in a fantasy--just dying to come out and play.

But with the escape from the dream comes sacrifice for it's denizens. As the muse leaves its world of hope and promise, a fledgling tries to follow but is drowned by the sorrows of our world.

Or something like it.

This is simply amazing. I love how austere the room looks, and then there's this beautiful window with an amazing sky and a masked figure and I'm rambling, but daammnn. This is great!

That's wonderful! I really love the symbols you used and the message which is a bit tragic but at the same time something all artists can relate to.
